I have been nothing short of amazed by Pentatonix. They are a five member a cappella group that produce a killer sound with some amazing arrangements, supper tight harmonies, and an insane vocal percussion/bass section. Their style is cutting edge, using their voices in all kinds of ways to produce a pop, modern, gripping sound that is both pleasing and inspiring. You can’t help but listen and watch them over and over again. Their cover songs are absolutely stellar and their performances on The Sing Off are, as Shawn Stockman (Sing Off judge and Boyz II Men member) puts it, “OFF THE HOOK”!
The purpose of this site is to support the group so that they can continue to flourish and we can enjoy their remarkable music! The site is organized so that old and new fans have one source where they can enjoy everything Pentatonix. If you’d like to suppor the site send an email to us with any ideas or information to add to the site.
We encourage you to visit the Pentatonix Facebook Page to read the stream of fan comments and the occasional message from the group members. Make sure that you “Like” them so they can continue to watch their number of Facebook fans grow.
Pentatonix is an incredible five member a capella singing group that graced the stage of The Sing Off on NBC. The three lead singers are Scott Hoying, Kirstie Maldonado, and Mitch Grassi. Bass and percussion are Avi Kaplan and Kevin Olusola, respectively. Scott, Kirstie and Mitch went to high school together at Martin High School in Arlington, Texas, where they formed a trio that began performing locally. The bass and percussion section (AVi & Kevin) were added when they decided to enter the Sing Off. The five of them have proven to be a phenomenal combination of voices.
